- Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
- Manages the cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas.
- Performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities.
- Maintains supplies. Supervises and plans work of assigned staff.
- Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed.
- Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse.
- Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment.
- Oversees the mending of linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair.
- Participates in making, marking, altering and mending of clothing, linens, and other items.
- Plans, develops, schedules and implements laundry services.
- Plans, organizes and directs provision of housekeeping, grounds maintenance, laundry and sewing services.
- Supervises the cleaning and straightening of assigned areas
One (1) year of experience in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role in a related area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 3 (FES042) or position equivalent.
