GRHS is seeking candidates for the position of Facility Security Ofc 2 – 2nd Shift (2:00pm – 10:30pm).

 

FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE BACKGROUND CHECK AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT. 

 

Job Description

This position is responsible for the safety of the hospital campus during the evenings. This position will ensure that buildings are safely guarded, and employees’ vehicles are protected. Will respond to all emergent events, including medical emergency, fire alarm, security alarm, and criminal actions. Will patrol the campus at night to check on people coming on campus as well as any suspicious activity. Will write reports of activities and irregularities on shift.

 

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:  

Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all the following skills/experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have two-three years of law enforcement or security experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record.

Employment Requirements

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees, individuals and communities we serve, certain positions within DBHDD may require evaluations, vaccinations, professional licensure and certifications. Licenses must be current and enable providers to practice within the State of Georgia.
