Preferred Qualifications: 

- Five years of maintenance experience to include reading blueprints. 

- Two years of experience in managing a large-scale maintenance operation at a hospital, university, correctional, or industrial setting.

 - Two years of previous supervision experience. 

- Two years of experience with State of Georgia purchasing rules and regulations, 

- Prior GDC security experience and/or knowledge of GDC security practices. 

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs. Comments/ Notes: 

- This position will function in support of contract maintenance regional teams and will work closely with GDC and contract vendors. 

- This position may require overnight travel.

Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of job-related experience in engineering, maintenance, renovation, and construction of facilities, including two (2) years as a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Fac Maintenance Engineer 3 (FEP042) or position equivalent.
