The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their fulltime

Dual Enrollment Coordinator in the Office of Secondary Initiatives. The Secondary Education Initiatives/Dual Enrollment Coordinator assists state, secondary, and postsecondary instructional leadership in the planning and development of career programs of study, including dual, joint, enrollment opportunities to high school students in service delivery area that lead to either an industry recognized credential, postsecondary certificate of credit, diploma or associate’s degree.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

·       Coordinate on the state level, secondary and postsecondary instructional leadership in the planning and development of career programs of study and for all secondary education initiatives including articulation, joint and dual enrollment opportunities that leads to either an industry recognized credential, postsecondary certificate of credit, diploma, or associates degree

·       Project manager coordinating the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and completion of program initiatives and project activities

·       Facilitate collaborative efforts and is the liaison in the community with local agencies maintaining working relationships with stakeholders

·       Assess training/development needs of college coordinators

·       Facilitate and lead teams, peer groups, and task forces in the completion of projects

·       Create and maintain an up-to-date process for dual enrollment and articulation process

·       Provide statewide marketing of programs to all educational institutions, businesses and industries and stakeholders

·       Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in related fields

·       Complete site visits at the technical colleges

·       Coordinate and assess the collection of program data

·       Fiscal manager of program budget(s)

·       Build and maintain relationships with all High School Coordinators and Dual Enrollment personnel across the system and develops training/enrichment opportunities based on their individual needs

·       Facilitate and lead teams, peer groups, and task forces in the completion of projects

·       Train new and provides staff development of current Dual Enrollment Coordinators in related areas of job function

·       Other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor’s degree in a related field *and* Two (2) years related work experience (Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis)

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

·       Five (5) years of work related experience
