Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Event planning
  • ability to develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to obtain potential resources
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illnesses. 
  • Plans, directs or coordinates therapeutic recreation programs activities including sports, gardening, dramatics, music, social activities, and arts and crafts. Ability to work independently.
  • CTRS encouraged, but not necessary
High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of job-related experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals in a human service setting; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Client Support Worker 1 (SSS010) or position equivalent.
