Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

  • Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision. 
  • Arrange for needed medical care and provide needed services to ensure that medical care is obtained.
  • Supervise individuals in the work therapy program on and off campus.
  • Support their efforts actively and stay engaged with the participants.
  • Plan and conduct special events.
  • Monitors individual's behaviors and triggers in the Treatment Mall to ensure they remain safe.
  • Assist with De-escalation of behaviors when appropriate.
  • Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Serve as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas.
  • Perform lead worker duties including assigning and reviewing subordinates' work.
  • Arrange for needed medical care and provides needed services to ensure that medical care is obtained.
  • Assist in presentation of educational group lectures related to appropriate topics.
  • Assist with the development of an individual service/treatment plan for each assigned consumer/student.
  • Care for individuals and families during periods of incapacitation, family disruption or convalescence, providing companionship, personal care, and help in adjusting to new lifestyles.
  • Counsel and advise clients on behavioral problems, daily decision-making, and the resolution of minor problems.. Instruct and advise clients/residents on daily living skills in one-on-one or group instruction.
  • Observe and monitor client behavior.
