At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports.

Summary

Under general supervision, Social Services Coordinator 3 is responsible for assessing client needs, coordinating access to community resources, and delivering supportive services that promote stability, independence, and overall well-being. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement service plans, advocate for clients, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

·        Plan, manage, and evaluate programmatic and administrative functions across MH Residential and Shelter Plus Care programs

·        Complete monthly grant reporting, including DCA utilization reports, DBHDD programmatic reports, and internal tracking tools

·        Support grant compliance and timely reimbursement submissions

·        Serve as a cross-trained resource in both residential and housing programs to ensure continuity of operations

·        Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and training staff

·        Provide coverage support in residential homes during staffing shortages

·        Establish and maintain relationships with community partners and agencies

·        Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with DBHDD, DCA, and HUD requirements

·        Guide and oversee resource distribution to reduce duplication of services

·        Attend local meetings and support community resource development

Minimum Qualifications

·        High school diploma or GED AND general office or administrative experience

·        Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia’s Driver’s License.

Physical Requirements

·        Must be able to lift and carry up to 25/50 lbs.

·        sitting, standing and/or walking, pushing/pulling, handling, reaching, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing (ladders or stairs), overhead reaching.

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of job-related experience; or two (2) years experience at the lower level Social Svcs Prgm Coord 2 (SSP031) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions require eligibility for licensure.
