The Human Resources Project Assistant is responsible for providing professional level support to the Human Resources Executive Director and the Office of Human Resources.  Must have superior proofing, editing and writing skills, customer focus, technical capacity and the ability to effectively prioritize work assignments.  Provides information and assistance to employees and the general public regarding Human Resources trainings, processes, policies, and procedures.  Must be creative in producing and managing events, special projects and activities that are resourceful for employees.  Must be able to problem solve, work in a fast pace environment and maintain discretion regarding sensitive and confidential information.  Must be organized, self-motivated, efficient and capable of working independently within set guidelines and meet deadlines.  Must employ good judgment and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures and policy.

Essential Job Responsibilities

·                     Perform and complete tasks and assignments associated with employee personnel functions,  

             (onboarding, employment documents, hiring sessions, etc.).

·                     Perform clerical duties; such as, filing, typing, answering phone calls, routing mail, etc.

·                     Manage and maintain electronic Job Center (applicant tracking system).

·                     Compose, post and manage recruitment announcements.

·                     Prepare, assemble, process, and/or generate reports and other requested documentation; and                              

              respond to inquiries, questions or requests.

·                     Enter data from forms, records, and reports for purposes such as maintaining databases.

·                     Proficient in Microsoft Suite and have the ability to operate in various HR software.

·                     Complete employment verifications/certifications.

·                     Administratively assist the Human Resources Executive Director (clerical, reports, etc.).

·                     Monitor use of and maintain supplies, and equipment.

·                     Scanning personnel files and documents ensuring accuracy for record keeping.

·                     Assist in new employee hiring and onboarding.

Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university *and* at least three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources

High school degree or equivalent *and* Two (2) years of work related experience

Yes. To deactivate your account, go to My Account and click Deactivate next to the page title. Please note that by deactivating your account, the system automatically withdraws all your active job submissions.
Some veterans may be eligible to receive either 5 or 10 points added to their passing score on a numerically scored pre-employment assessment. Where no numerically scored assessment is used, preference may be given to eligible veterans whose qualifications for a job they have applied for are equivalent to the most suitable non-veteran applicant for that job.
