The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Business Support Analyst in Admissions at Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.

Salary: $41,569.83 - $47,059.99

Job Description: 

Performs data analysis and prepares presentations, publications, trainings for AMH Department.  Completes organizational reviews by way of assessment of Individual’s needs makes recommendations to enhance the Multi-Disciplinary Treatment Planning process.   Conducts evaluations, administer survey of a department to identify barriers to quality services, compliance, or ineffective work processes.  Creates action plans, policies, trainings, and regulation to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively in the provision of services.  Reviews, monitors and ensures compliance with assigned program area's policies and procedures.   Assists with review of standards of care, policy and procedures within AMH project development and implementation.  Incorporates audit findings into training sessions.

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards: 

·       Serves as organizational resources advocate within assigned area

·       Assists with the development of data quality tests to improve the accuracy of the survey data collected

·       Assists in the development of data quality measures to improve the accuracy of data collected

·       Collect and evaluate statistical data or reports to identify departmental performance trends

·       Conduct research, studies and analysis that frequently have departmental impacts

·       Define data requirements and gather and validate information by applying judgment and review of statistical data

·       May publish data, post pertinent data by creating related logs and records

·       Organizes and tabulates data using a variety of techniques including database, software, spreadsheets, statistical tables, charts, and graphs

·       Prepares Models of problems for determination that relates to analysis findings

·       Provides Technical Assistance and training on departmental issues

·       Provide customer service to external and internal stakeholders

·       Perform job tasks with minimal supervision.

2.     Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and policy

3.     Ability to adhere to Departmental policy, procedures, timelines, and quality assurance                    

4.     standards

5.     Ability to analyze and prioritize workload through the use critical thinking skills

6.     Ability to display proficiency with the use of a computer to complete job tasks.

Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience related to area of assignment. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
