Senior Functional Lead - State Based Exchange

Under limited supervision, the Senior Functional Lead is responsible for overseeing and driving the successful implementation and optimization of enterprise systems, processes, and workflows.  

Leads functional design, development, and implementation of enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Analyzes and implements solutions to problems associated with assignments.

Coordinates the integrated systems integrity, provides the coordination, communication and project structure between users of Information Services and third-party software vendors or programmers, provides systems and installation support and user training.

Develops and controls the project schedules and assigns responsibilities where appropriate.

Monitors system issues being reported by customers, agents, assisters, and internal users, and collaborate with the vendors and partners on root cause of issues, near-term mitigation steps, long-term resolution, and documentation.

May also serve in a lead role.

Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) on enterprise applications and workflows, providing guidance on best practices and process improvements.

Analyzes operations to determine business requirements and needs.

Analyzes science, engineering, business, and all other data processing problems to determine feasibility and cost effectiveness of technology solutions.

Works with business owners, IT managers, staff, and vendors in order to provide timely and efficient IT coordination of services to meet agency needs.

 Performs other duties assigned.

Associate degree and five (5) years of related experience or five (5) years of job-specific experience, including system analysis, design and development, and relationship management.
