Under supervision, the Licensing and Business Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the licensing and business services team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of licenses, registrations, and business service requests.

Supervise, train, and support licensing and business services staff; monitor workload and performance to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Oversee the review, processing, issuance, and renewal of licenses and registrations in accordance with established policies and legal requirements.

Serve as a subject matter expert on licensing regulations and business service operations; provide guidance to staff and resolve escalated issues.

Develop and update standard operating procedures, workflows, and quality control measures.

Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to business licensing and services.

Manage customer service functions related to licensing inquiries and service requests.

Collect and analyze data to prepare reports on licensing activities, performance metrics, and process improvements.

Participate in audits and regulatory reviews; implement corrective actions as needed.

Recommend and implement improvements to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Associate degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of job-related experience, including two (2) years in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Compliance Business Analyst 3 (RCP032) or position equivalent.
