This position is located at Georgia Garrison Training Center/Land Dominance Center Ft. Stewart. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:
 
Performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled trades work at the Georgia Garrison Training Center/Land Dominance Center. This includes the repair, maintenance or construction of state/federal buildings and related structures. Installs and maintains security, climate control, and other facilities systems.
 
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, also possess:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. One year experience in maintenance and/or carpentry type construction.
 
Additional Information:

The selected applicant must meet the following standards:
1. Eligible to work in the U.S.
2. Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
 
***Selected applicant must pass a pre-employment background investigation, which includes a Georgia criminal records search, a pre-employment drug test (will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program), AND a post-employment federal background investigation, which includes a national criminal records search.
