Facility Maintenance Worker, Part Time - ADC Garden City

This position is Part-time, working less than 29 hours per week.

This position will be located at the Air Dominance Center, Savannah, GA.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under minimal supervision this position will:

 

  • Assist with inventory and control of over 870 dorm room keys and auditoriums for approximately 197,252 sq ft.
  • Maintain and stock equipment and supplies.  
  • Responsible for upkeep of landscaping and trash removal.
  • Operate power cleaning equipment. 
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as unclog toilets, clearing sink, and water fountain drains.  
  • Assist skilled trade workers when required.

 

Agency Specific and/or Preferred Qualifications:
 
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications possess: 

  • Experience working as maintenance in a hotel/motel.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment.

The selected applicant must meet the following standards:

 

1.  Eligible to work in the U.S.

2.  Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.


***Selected applicant must pass a pre-employment background investigation, which includes a Georgia Criminal records search, a pre-employment drug test (will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program), AND a post-employment federal background investigation, which includes a national criminal records search.
