The Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit Public Defender Office is seeking to fill an Assistant Public Defender I or II position. Primary responsibilities include representing indigent clients in all phases of criminal proceedings. Applicants must meet the qualifications and have the necessary skills to perform the job duties and responsibilities for the position, including but not limited to, preparation and presentation of cases for trial and entering of pleas. Candidates must possess a Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university. The chosen applicant will be a current member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
