Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Georgia Department of - DBHDD
  • Prepares, heats and finishes cooking food items and serves customers, client and/or employees. 
  • May receive and disburse money in a food service establishment. 
  • Cleans work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware. 
  • Cleans work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware. 
  • Cleans, peels, slices and trims foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances. 
  • Conducts or assists with food supply requisitions and sanitation and maintenance inspections. 
  • Observes safety, sanitation and health rules and standards. 
  • Portions food or places it directly on plates for service to facility residents, employees or patrons and packages takeout foods. 
  • Prepares foods. 
  • Receives payment for food items. 
  • Replenishes supplies of food, condiments, and equipment at steam tables and service bars. 
  • Stores food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. 
  • Takes customers' orders and serves customers. 
  • Unpacks and stores supplies, raw and prepared food products

Employment Requirements
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees, individuals and communities we serve, certain positions within DBHDD may require evaluations, vaccinations, professional licensure and certifications. Licenses must be current and enable providers to practice within the State of Georgia.

 The following are a listing of evaluations and vaccinations that may be required for employees, including those not involved with direct care:
