Job Summary:

Under supervision, schedules consumers for testing, assembles test materials and administer tests. Develops and implements behavior management and/or skills acquisition plans.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists with administration and scoring of tests

Develop and implement behavior management plans as required by regulatory agencies Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition based on review of client information Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment

Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan

Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports

Provides training to direct staff in implementing behavior modification techniques

Trains to collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in in counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university or certification  as  an  addiction  counselor  from  the  Georgia  Addiction  Counselors  Association (GACA) or equivalent certification.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to Entry Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications may be added by the agency.
