The Rome Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office is seeking to hire an Assistant Public Defender I.  Primary duties include representing indigent clients in all phases of criminal proceedings, including arraignment, pretrial hearings, trial preparation, plea negotiations, trial, and sentencing.  This position involves extensive courtroom and trial experience in the Superior Court of Floyd County.  Applicants should be a member in good standing with the State of Georgia Bar.

Description of Duties: The Assistant Public Defender will provide competent and zealous representation and advocacy to indigent clients.
